High season vs. Low season

Some Tour companies consider the months of April, May, September and October to be their low season. During these months, the number of visitors to the Galapagos Islands tends to decrease and (depending on the boat) some of them lower their rates in order to attract more travelers on board. The opposite effect occurs during the high season, where many boats will be booked far in advance, so make reservations months before you plan on traveling. If making last minute reservations, you may have to choose a boat that is not really your first choice.

Wildlife
